The Midnight Society® was founded in December of 2015. I had just returned from a six month tour of Europe, and the only mementos I picked up were enamel pins from each country I visited. When I returned to the U.S. I thought about how interesting the medium was, and asked Natalie if she would be interested in creating one. Once they arrived, I handed out the majority, and opened the remaining stock to friends and family online to see who else might be interested.
Luckily I was familiar with running an online store from past experiences, but was searching for a fitting name for my shop. After a few weeks passed, I received a message from Instagram asking if I wanted to reset my password. I thought this was odd, and had forgotten @TheMidnightSociety was something I had registered years prior. Once the first pin design sold out, we made a game plan for a few more, and kept pushing forward. Over time we expanded our ideas to apparel, embroidered patches, and other products that piqued our creative interests. It's truly unbelievable that we're able to create the things that we love, and the support we've received is incredibly humbling. Thank You!
Chris Morris: Founder / Operations
Chris definitely has an obsession with almost everything, and he's not embarrassed to admit it. Music, movies, art, food, and oddly enough, fashion, inspire him to continue creating new products, and collaborating with incredible artists. He's known for making generous nods at what he loves in all of his work. His background as an audio engineer and music producer made him extremely detail oriented, and running a Mixtape Series on iTunes made him particularly savvy with online marketing and research. Lastly, he loves connecting with people, and pushing himself to take risks on new ideas.
Natalie Clapp: Lead Designer / Creative Director

Natalie went to art school at the Savannah College of Art and Design and received her degree in Illustration which helped to refine her inherent creative talent. She has worked as an illustrator and graphic designer for eight years, and has been an entrepreneur and silversmith for four years. She has been designing for The Midnight Society since the birth of the company and loves the light-hearted, and energetic aesthetic in each design she creates.
